A little change to bounty system =)

For ideas on how to make Second Age a better shard. Can it get any better? Maybe.

A little change to bounty system =)

Post by Imp »

Well, accuracy is nice, but... I think it might be a good goldsink, and some kind of "financial warfare" :)

So, when a murderer with a bounty got resurrected, Lord British should deduct the sum of bounty from his/her bankbox.
(S)he may refuse to pay, and resurrect in stat loss regardless of current short term kill status.

This will remove any reason to claim bounty "for himself", and give wealthy carebears an economic weapon :) as well as the way to spend some money :)

Then murderers would have to be rich, or could be bankrupted by rich players putting large spite-bounties.

Kind of dumb.

Interesting idea, but this would simply result in reds not keeping any cash in their bank i think. And yeah, accuracy too.

As far as gold sinks, the accurate bounty system actually expired bountys after a period of time, we currently don't have this implemented and bounties will continue to grow forever. This may be something we'd consider implementing.
