Re: difference between 85 and 75 dex with qstaff
I love math (just kidding) so I'll calculate it for you!
FORMULA: Attack Speed= 15,000 ÷ ( [Stamina +100] x Weapon Speed )
Quarterstaff speed: 48
85 dex: 15000 / 8880 = 1.69 (1.7) sec per swing
75 dex: 15000 / 8400 = 1.79 (1.8 ) sec per swing
About a difference of .10 seconds!
But I am not sure how the new core timer affects this:
FORMULA: Attack Speed= 15,000 ÷ ( [Stamina +100] x Weapon Speed )
Quarterstaff speed: 48
85 dex: 15000 / 8880 = 1.69 (1.7) sec per swing
75 dex: 15000 / 8400 = 1.79 (1.8 ) sec per swing
About a difference of .10 seconds!
But I am not sure how the new core timer affects this:
If it affects the weapon swings, I assume you will need to round to the nearest 0.25 of a second...!Overhaul of the core timer.
* Everything in game that is timed now operates on 0.25 second "ticks" as on OSI
* This means that during moments of server lag, server time will not pass.
* Time will not pass during world saves, so the incidents of double weapons swings, or getting double flamestriked, or double fire-breath'd surrounding a world save should cease.
* Testing did not report any significantly noticeable effects related to this change.
