There actually used to be a bank in cove, which I believe was era-inaccurate. Check out some of the forum posts on the event currently going on for more info on it, though:

We prefer era accuracy, and by that I mean we use the gate bot on our 3rd account to transport our miner to/from cove, and to restock his various tools that our tinker bot on our 2nd account is making. Also, all this is automated by Razor, including the mining. (Don't worry! I'm next to the computer playing Wii: not AFK!)
