A question on leaving a boat unlocked.

Post by Jill Stihl »

Hi folks,

I understand if I leave a boat unlocked anyone can board it, access the hold, and sail it away somewhere. I also understand they could block the recall spot with an object.

But as long as I possess the only keys, is there anyway it could be properly permanently stolen from me? Is it going to remain 'mine' as long as I can find it again?

I know it seems like leaving a boat unlocked would just be stupid but I do have a purpose in mind.

Thanks :)

yeah, as long as someone else doesn't have a key it cannot be dry docked, thus it will always be yours.
