Shard back up... but Housing error?

Post by uofuntime »

Hi there. So I'm glad the shard is back. But I logged on (in my home) to find a house placed right next to me with but only 1 tile space. Isn't that a little too close? Been scouring the surrounding areas and a lot of new homes have been placed too, in spots that usually are too snug to fit anything. Hmm...

you can place with a 1 tile between them side to side, and i beleive 5 or 6 tiles front to back. This new patch made it so you could place over dirt tiles. so it should open a few housing spots up

To the left and right of a house only one tile is required. Front and back require 5 spaces.

Mondays patch "fixed" the issue with placing houses over "dirt patch's" so there likely will be some additional housing opportunities.

Ahhhhh... thanks for clearing that up. I was confused about that 5 tile limit thing. (and shocked so many homes sprang right up next to me!)

I had a house pop up next to me before the patch. Needless to say I'm moving.

WHAT, YOU WANT TO ARGUE WITH ME ?!

DROP A STONE! GO AHEAD!

I hope I'm not the only one having flashbacks and laughing at this server. It's awesome here, and every time I play a little nugget of funny comes back to me on how the things used to be, and how retarded things got in the end.

lol

when i was uber bored with the low population of fel, i'd sometimes goto trammel to grief/loot, the amount of people who would say "...if this was felucca...". then you offer to drop a moonstone and just get ignored. the only good thing about the tram/fel split was suddenly you had your own "instanced" hunting ground (fel). you'd see less people in dungeons than divinity
