Frankly id prefer to trade for less money to faustus than to trade with you and have to go through all that exhausting effort.

I dont blame Gomer for backing out, and refusing to pay an 'inconvenience' fee of 10k... I would have expected a discount for the inconvenience of having a difficult trade.
