I have very little experience with pvp outside of messing around on test, and a couple group fights...however I can say personally, I am one of the people who tried to use an automated macro for purple pots.

In my case, both on test on live it invariably ended up with me getting hit with the pots more often than my opponents, and it became obvious quickly that simply getting better at purple pot hotkey + last target was likely a better method of throwing them.

Not saying there isn't some way of automating it better, but if there is it's something more involved than just a simple razor macro that waits x amount of seconds before throwing, as using one of those is really not very effective.

P.S. Plenty of the pks and pvpers on here pvp ALOT and are extremely good with their keybinds and timing, I think you should at least consider the possibility that whoever did this to you simply knows what they are doing, and is very good with explo pots.

purple pots are not an exploit idiot. they are a tool used for pvp. just like poison. or paralyze. or cycling your swing timer on a tank mage (now theres a true exploit for ya to bitch about). its not that hard to avoid getting bombed by these by breaking LOS. as its been pointed out already, automating these things with razor or other means is not very effective, there are just to many variables in pvp to make a reliable pot throwing script. i carry about 30 of these things on me at all times when i PK. not because i need a crutch to kill people. but because its pretty much the only way to kill someone whos cowardly running away from you. i have been accused MANY more times then i can count of using a macro to throw potions just because i throw so many of them. i assure you that i ALWAYS throw manually by just using the 'drink purple potion' hotkey in razor, and the last target key. i have tried to macro pot throwing, and never got anything close to a reliable result in pvp, so i quit trying. i seriously doubt anyone here has any sort of macro or script that can do this more efficiently then a person manually timing and throwing them.

i fail to see how this is exploiting ANYTHING at all? learn to pvp better.

(seriously, i just can't handle the thrill. i can play many challanging video games without a blink. but when it comes to hardcore PvP, i just suck! hard.)
