Resist Question

Hello !

I got a question about resist.
My character is at 97 resist now and still i need to wait from 2 seconds up to 10 seconds or more till a paralyze of a Lich is wearing out. Can someone tell me how this is calculated ? For me this sounds unbelievable I dont want to imagine how long it will last when a player with 100 Eval Int is doing it....

I'm pretty sure it wont make a difference to the length you spend parilized. You just need trapped pouches its the only way your going to get away from it quickly.

ill still standing around paralyzed for over 2-10 seconds even with gm resist ?

traped pouches are extremely cheap then your out instantly.

im aware of that.
Its not that i dont use them but i was a bit surprised about the long time it took my char to get out of that paralyze...i wont ask if this is era accurate, i played in that era but it is that long ago...im not sure about it

resisting paralyze will cut it's duration by half, that is all

"resisting magical energy" on direct damage will also cut the damage in half
