This means your Host/IP address has been banned from the server for whatever reason. This isn't a channel ban, so the issue is deeper than doing something within the channel. It's quite possible that someone with a similar host was banned from the whole chat server.

Have you emailed [email protected] about it yet? That would be the first step as this has to do with WildIRC admin, not UOSA.

Looking at the log, it might have had something to do with the netsplit earlier. Sometimes if it sees multiple instances of a single IP joining a chat server, security can kick up and do something along the lines of a flood protection. The ban ends in 3 hours, so you might consider simply waiting it out and see what happens unless you think you can get ahold of someone on the email before that.

This is caused by someone else running a proxy from your host. You need to e-mail [email protected] and request an exemption.

I emailed them the last time this happened and they didn't even bother responding to it.

If you are blocked by CBL, you may have a very serious problem, I highly recommend seeing what they have to say about your IP, and running a virus scan.

I highly doubt I have a virus on this computer but I did do a full scan with the microsoft windows malicious software removal tool, as instructed, and after 3 hours and 30 minutes of scanning, it didn't come up with any virus.

I think Hollywood just hates me.

It's not WildIRC staff that's banning you of course, it's your IP's presence on the CBL list.

What did the CBL say when you typed in your IP address?

It says I have a "storm worm" and gave me instructions to remove it. I followed the instructions and it didn't find anything. I don't have any other computers on my network.
