How do you make custom stairs

I've been playing here for like a month or two and I've seen this a few times. Can anyone tell me or point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to make those stairs in houses? -- Like to the otherwise inaccessable areas of a keep/castle.

Can make cool stuff like this... Consequently, what are the limits to this? If you had the time and inclination, Is it possible to add another floor to a tower this way?

the only limit is the number of lockdowns

there is a z axis limit, I have witnessed another floor on a tower though. so I'm unsure of what that zaxis limit is.

I a have also witnessed a tower that some how got placed too high on the z axis, so the roof was inaccessible.
