Reported tinker

I put a trap on a chest while it was on the ground, but still got reported.. Everywhere is written that this shouldn't happen.. Is that right? Also when i trap a container on the ground and put it in my backpack the trap goes off, without me opening the container. But if i drop it on my char directly it doesn't go off.. Is that ok too?

For the second one, turn off 'Auto search new container' in razor, under Display/Counters. That may be the problem.

Did you do it on the floor of a house that your tinker owns?

Nope, did it directly on the streets of britain. Should i do it on the floor of a house my char owns.. If that's the sitiuation would a house the char is friended to would do the trick?

Need to trap the chest while its sitting on the floor of a house you either own or are friended to.
