Richest Spawn?

Want some feedback on what spawn has the highest Gold drop and the highest likelihood of powers/vanqs/etc.

Though I respect the helpful info it's not an answer. Imagine there are no other players on the server: How much do they drop? Is it the best spawn for vanqs and such?

I remember someone saying that you're "guaranteed" a power or a vanq after killing three ancient wyrms.

Now that Im dont pretending theres no one else here. Besides pk's be careful of stealthers getting your stuff to. I've had many people stealth to the corpse of it and then grab the gold and recall out.

That was me... I said "practically guaranteed" a power or vanq bow, in part due to the fact that archery weapons drop with greater frequency than other weapon types.

I can't mathematically prove that Ancient Wyrm weapons and armor are superior to other monster drops, but I have a very strong hunch that they are. And I spent a lot of time in January and Februrary killing and looting ancient wyrms.

If you're looking at it from more of a rate perspective, the Elder Gazer in Covetous is about the most profitable monster to hunt, due to it's quick respawn rate and low HPs.

this is where i farm + my turnover


Terrathan Keep 60-120k/hour, On a bard you can farm this like crazy if you lure and provo everything though so it requires some effort and fi you're looking to clear anywehre near the 100k mark you need to do it a quiet time where no one will be dropping in to loot your balrons/get in the way.


Lich Lords 50-80k/Hour, Keep both liches in the room and use 3 wyrms you might not last an entire hour @ LL without a guild to recall in and help every now and again though.

Elder Gazers 50-80k/Hour, Lure off the normal gazers and just use 2-3 drags on the normal elder I tend to find the less drags you have the quicker the spawn rate so 2 is perfect.

Blood eles 30k(ish)/hour, Just 2 drags slaying it and looting the gold.

Destard 30k(ish)/hour, This is in high traffic, I've never farmed destard when its quiet so cant really give an accurate tiem but this run includes barding the main area + pond then lvl 2 dragon/drakes and then EVing ancient wyrm and returning to loot the others then back to ancient to loot it.

insta-spawn Covetous Lich 30k(ish)/hour, only farmed it during prime-time and it was a massive hassle imo avoid
