Almost done with Provo... !!!
Sometime today my bard should GM Provocation. He was be a fairly standard run of the mill bard. I did have a question on how to spend my last 200 points or so.
I will definitely be GM in: Music, provo, magery, med, eval
I'm thinking about: Wrestle, hide, resist
I'm leaning towards wrestle to escape pks and hide to escape pks and mobs if I get into trouble. I feel like I should leave out resist; this character only exists to finance my pvp mage. I do not plan to fight back against any pk. I also don't want to spend all the money to gm resist on him.
Would it be viable to have music provo mage med eval wrestle and hide?
Any other options?

i believe you should drop eval and go bard/t-hunter way.
i.e. magery/med/wrestle/provo/music/lockpick/cartography
i.e. magery/med/wrestle/provo/music/lockpick/cartography

Do they make more gold per hour? I just don't know the first thing about raising cartography or lockpicking (although there are guildes so that's not really a problem) but I also don't know how to play one.
Is it worth it to learn?

t-hunting is quite profitable and is really worth to learn. it's all up to you though.shire99 wrote:Do they make more gold per hour? OK I'll think about it. If I do choose just a normal bard, what do you think about my build?

Re: Almost done with Provo... !!!
i think you dont want Hiding as you can hide through casting a spell. wrestling is a must, resist is not.shire99 wrote:OK I'll think about it. If I do choose just a normal bard, what do you think about my build?

What's the advantage of putting cartography on the bard and not another character? Although the character that decodes the map must dig up the treasure, that character doesn't have to kill the monsters. That way the bard can use the 100 points for peacemaking, hiding, resist, etc. (The bard probably won't be treasure hunting most of the time.)

there is no advantage, infact if you plan to do low level maps 1-2-3 lvl, it's more convinient to make a dedicated t-hunter/dexxer as it's much more faster to do those with dexxer.Joueur Moyen wrote:What's the advantage of putting cartography on the bard and not another character? i, however, have all t-hunting skills on my bard because i like it. i play it 1/3 of my time and dont wanna switch characters to do an occasional t-map.

Make a 2nd char to be a t hunter. My thunter has nothing but 95 lockpicking, GM detect hidden, GM Carto and GM hiding...
He just decodes, digs, picks, and hides ... my bard does the rest.
My bad has GM wrastle and resist, its the best combo imo.
