I am new to second age and it seems very strange and exciting for me. I am starting off really simple, just a pure mace character but to help me build a good template and know the general workings of the game I need some skill questions answered.
These seem like useless skills what good are they?
-cooking
-fishing
-herding
-begging
-camping
-Detect Hidden (I think this actually is helpful but I am wondering if it does anything other then the implied)
-Spirit speak
-tracking
(I also think all the skills in the Lore and knowledge section are useless too, except for anatomy, and evaluating intelligence. In this era though you can't see a weapons stats and what not, very mysterious which I like and find intriguing. How do you go about figuring a weapons stats though? Do you use arms lore?)
What in the world are these skills?
-Imbuing
-mysticism
-Spellweaving
-Throwing
(as I'm typing this I have a feeling that these skills are ones from later clients that are just simply residue)
Do these applications and bonuses apply to this era?
Alchemy - do you need poisoning to make the strongest type of poison potion?
Lockpicking - Anything I can't lock pick?

Lumberjacking - Does it give the bonus damage when I wear a axe-swordsmanship?
Poisoning - Maximum poison means you do more poison damage right?
Anatomy - Improves damage, healing with bandages, and helps dodging blows in empty-handed
Evaluating int - Improves spell damage and helps in dodging blows in empty-handed combat
Inscription - improves spell damage
Arms lore - disarms the opponent
