Hello

I played from 1998-2000

My name was Darkest Star / Azram the dark, SSJ
Chances are that you have been killed by me in PvP, or being polymorph pked by me around the east Britain road if you played during that time ;)

/bragging

I currently play Darkfall Online which is pretty much a Copy of Ultima Online Beta.

If you liked Ultima Online, you will love Darkfall BUT you might be too soft after 6 years of games like WoW :)

I wish you all the best.

PS: Hermo, whats up

Whats up Azram, I don't remember you specifically, but I sure remember massive guild wars with SSJ. I was Ken Kesey in RMF & had a dexer named Nazgul. Usually hung around the west Brit Xrds, or deceit of course.

Welcome to secondage! I ran into one of your old guildies, Jarlaxle, here a couple weeks ago, but I haven't seen him since, not sure if he's still around or not, but hopefully he is playing. Hit me up if you're looking for some old ATL peeps to roll with.

Played from 1998 - 2000 on Atlantic. Only guild I remember being part of was D*C, which probably wasn't very well known.

My chars (that I can remember):
Fester
Nice Guy

Good times! Crazy to remember all these guild names from so long ago...

I played on Atlantic since shortly after release and all the way up to the release of Malas.

I've played on several different characters with several different playstyles.

I used to hang out at the Xroads as Volrath back in the day.
Then I played in [AIS] for several years as NECROMANCER xxx and Toshiro.

I miss the old days that used to have a sense of community and everyone seemed to know everyone else. I loved hanging out with the same people in the xroads and griefing all the people wandering through. But, I also loved the sense of community by being part of a guild as large and as well put together as AIS.

Been playing her for a couple of weeks and haven't seen or experienced that yet, but it's still too soon to make an opinion...

I might as well add myself to the Atlantic list. I played from 1999 to 2001.

I only had three characters:

systemofadown - dex monkey, Magic Note - bard eventually turned pk, and Mining Joe - blacksmith that never left Minoc

I was in Killer Bees K^B, I think that was the abbreviation. I remember LLTS, but who doesn't. I really can't recall any of the names posted. The only names I remember is Squid (from Colorado) and Entropy (from Canada), we definitely had some good times.
(3:57:45 PM) Onslaught: i like dicks
(3:57:48 PM) Onslaught: so IronfistMax is OK
(3:57:52 PM) IronfistMax: Gross
(3:57:54 PM) Onslaught: fuck
(3:57:56 PM) Onslaught: that came out wrong

Wow, what a blast from the past reading a lot of these names. I played Atlantic from early 1998 to 2000 (when EA murdered it). Several of the character names and guilds ring a bell in this thread, so awesome.

Some of the characters I played were:
Hot Blooded (main mage)
Larson (mage murderer atop the bounty board for 13 months)
Rob (treasure hunter)
Dingle Berry (archer/mage)
Bill Clinton (thief)

I was in Darkenbane [DB], and for a short time after DB left for EQ, Pimps of Britannia [PB] (yes, terrible name). Used to hang mostly in Minoc. During the DB era used to hang a lot in Nujelm.

I used to run around with GOLD RUSH/Quentin, Eskimo Spy, Char of DB, Majestic, Korny Juggalo, BARFALOT OF PUKE, Cold Blooded, GAMBIT, Langhorne and biasucci of the colts [tc].

Some guilds and people I remember fighting with or against (mostly against):
Kremlin (skin color was perma-white), the Teverill's (sp?) of Covetous Crew [CC]
Yellowbeard of Da Boyz [DBZ] (I think they were DBZ)
Gohan, Jarlaxle, Hermocrates, Sabatage of [SSJ]
Penni Crew [PC]
The Pluggers [TP]
Skeletor and others of Sooky Sooky [S!S]
[TB]
ACiD
And easily one of the funnest guilds to ever mess with in the history of gaming, the hundreds of members of LLTS.

I remember a lot of these names and guilds showing up at server down in BRIT GY every morning. Those were atop the funnest times I've ever experienced in any game. I don't know how many times I've mentioned wanting to go back to that era just to experience all that again. Gaming has never been as good since.

If any of this rings a bell to anyone, give me a shout on here. Would love to hear from past friends and enemies alike. Just started playing on this server with some friends who I used to play UO with 12 years ago that I've kept in touch with since.

Hmm..I started out on a char named Azel Of Exile. Mostly hung around Vesper and the Cove orc fort box stealing with a friend. His name was something like Chester the Molester or something.

Then I eventually gave up on that lifestyle. Moved to Moonglow and made a char named Fizzgig. I would mostly just hassle the people sitting along the fence at the bank. Also from time to time strip naked and pick fights along the guard line.

I also remember hassling some RP guy at Moonglow about his outfit colors. Was this neat earth tone green and brown combo. Think the name was Grim something. Or there was a G in there somewhere.

It's me, Mr Stuck. Myself and two former DBers (who are all the way from UO Atlantic OSI 12 years ago) are playing here. Message me on AIM: pdiddlee.

I played somewhere in that timeline. I was Mad Max on Atlantic and yes I agree it was before they destroyed everything.

Well, isn't this nostalgic...

My main was Will, of the Crusaders of Light (C^L), formerly of the Order of the Blackguards (B*G). Guilds in a perpetual war to "defend" Trinsic from the Borrowers.

I remember as a total newbie joining my guild in laying siege to the TB in their little house outside the west gate... many many times with varying success.

Also played as Dumas, occasionally joining Fu Man Chu and Nietzche and the rest of GMU in pvp. It was never my specialty, but I made a good kamikaze/distraction, haha.

I remember Will, now that you mention the name.

I wouldn't have thought I was all that memorable outside my own guilds, and maybe a few TBers like Chrae and Jessie. My main schtick was exploration, which was good for guild parties and such (jousting on top of British's castle, races through the Yew prisons, stuff like that). I was somewhat heavily involved in the defense and later the offense during Trinsic's invasion, but my contributions were probably overshadowed by Jorland Brae and Arturius.

I do remember the name Eyepatch but I can't remember where I've seen you, I'm sorry to say.
