20 Anatomy - 80 Wrestling?

How much would the modifier even effect damage if you had 20.0 in Anatomy? Does it even make sense to have?

So does it make more sense to 100 wrestling or 100 anatomy?

Well, anatomy is what, a 20% bonus to damage?

So consider 20% at 100 skill, and then X% at 20 skill.

(20*20) = 100x
400=100x
400/100=x
x=4

4% damage increase.

If a hally typically did like 25 damage on average (I just made that number up), then that would be like 1 extra damage I guess? Compare that to ~5 bonus damage with gm anatomy.
Though it really depends on when the anatomy modifier is applied in the formula.

I think your 80 wrestle would equate to you getting hit 10% more vs. a like skilled opponent. I don't think that would be worth it at all.

I was under the impression that if you had GM Wrestling and you are mage during a fight you would have a greater chance of missing a Halberd swing from a GM Swordsman while casting. Is this not accurate?

Without 100 Wrestling, you will be completely dominated by anyone yielding a weapon. They will never miss. Wrestling is a must

sorry , havent understood the question properly :/

you need wrestling to avoid 100% getting hit chance. you just don't need anatomy for it. 20% of anatomy isnt worth reduced defense.

yup, just to add to that: if you're using wrestling for defense (dodging attacks), then anatomy is out of the question since you're not using it for damage. Wouldn't make sense to give a damage boost for wrestling.

wrestling is only a must if you are a mage

I'm pretty sure he has another weapon skill that the anatomy bonus would be used with. (like a tank mage or something).

That actually reminds me when I first started thieving in UO. I got wrestling thinking "This is great, I will never lose a weapon because I wont need one", worked it up to 80 or so, and then learned that it does like 1hp damage lol as an offense. lol
