A reminder, Uncheck "Use smart CPU usage reduction"!

Post by Psilo »

Whether you're an explorer, crafter or pvper, unchecking "Use smart CPU usage reduction" will smooth your character movement, dragging and dropping items will feel more "smooth", moving gumps will be completely smooth with no "ripple effect". This is very important, any player who you fight who has this unchecked will have an advantage especially in pvp or chasing you, since this causes your character to have client-side lagg as you run.

This is not an era accurate option and I highly recommend unchecking it since it is a nuisance and makes client feel choppy and not as smooth as it should be. It is on the first tab called "General".

Be sure to reopen razor after unchecking the option so it takes effect.

Here's my old thread on it sticked in the "Server & Client Support" forum:

Indeed. It's my personal theory that this option does not play well with a modern OS such as Vista or Win7, coupled with a multiple core processor.
