Roleplay (RP) guilds - Are there any?

As an occasional player (Not a lot of free time), I find myself lost in a bit of a quandary.

To roleplay, you need to be familiar with the community surrounding you - Events, dialect, personalities, that sort of thing. Being strapped for time, I am not able to really interact much with the community at large. The fact that I'm still trying to build my characters only exacerbates the problem.

So given I have limited time to chat it up with folks, and hoping to avoid the pain of going through every guild listing, I ask the following:

Are there any active RP guilds on this server?

For me, a true RP guild takes the lore of the UO universe seriously, especially any and all aspects related to the virtues. Structure is also important, so if there are any RP guilds that have a militaristic (Ranks, roles, group tactics, etc.) structure, it'd be a big bonus!

So is RP alive in any shape or form on the UO:SA server?

There are a few RP guilds here. The Militia, Immortal Lords, Bloodrock Clan (Orcs), and a few Pirate Guilds. Check out the Guild Recruitment Page.

I had thought to check that out after I posted this.. Or to move this to that board, but couldn't find a delete option.

The Militia initially intrigued me, but Mark is no longer playing UO, so I'm not sure where that leaves the guild.

Maybe someday I'll have to create my own.
