New Player with some questions

Greetings,

I am The Cow King. I rule over the boulvine. Many of you have taken my children as slaves; tamers, or have even gone so far as to slay them for no apparent reason!! This outrages me! Why slay my precious cow-kin? I could see why you slay my bulls, but my cows?!? You... Monsters! I was walking near the farms outsideof Britain and saw the corpses of these fallen creatures. Murderers... It truly saddens me to see them in that state. Instead of grazing in the green pastures and frollicking around the fields, they now take dirt naps. Why? Why kill them?

Now, for my REAL questions.

I am new to UOSA, I came from Divinity. I played until I had to answer the call of duty and deploy overseas. I haven't played since late 2008, and hen I returned, everyone was gone. I played as a dexxer and enjoyed harassing people when they were waiting to ambush someone. Now I want to try a new playstyle. I was thinking a tamer dexxer? Here's my template, please feel free to add suggestions/input.

I've Never liked magery, but I was thinking 70 in a skill and 30 magery to recall? I already have gm hiding. I have 50 resist as well. Perhaps I've messed up my char already?

My personal opinion for a dexxer tamer is a horrible idea. So do you plan on walking dragons from destard to farming locations? To me a tamer should be something similar to

Wrestling

Well I intwnded on taming as many cows as possible and just leading them
into a dungeon or town. I'd use my bow to help them of course. But I've never been good at pvp. Destard? Lolwut. I love pvp But I suck at it. Even when I get m ass handed to me I enjoy it.

I could kindof resist some Mage DMG and cast some low lvl spells, idk. Like I said, I've never liked magery except for the gate/recalls because walking everywhere sucks.

100 eval without 100 magery would be worthless. Casting fireballs to do damage?

I think for a tamer magery has(too extreme?) to me GM

Argh! Is there any way to have taming and magery with some sort of melée skill? I just want to conquer some dungeons and be able to defend against reds long enough to either get a counterattack ready or get myself and maybe my minions to safety.

I'd take wrestling instead of Eval Int. Will help you get that recall or gate out with less chance of an interruption.

Better. I'd toss healing and just GM resist. Your magery and cure and heal. With 50 healing you're looking at 18 seconds to heal with no curing.

Healing without anatomy = sucks

I'd drop healing and resist altogether, and then get GM Eval...oh, but that would be a tamer/mage.

Well, pirul I said I'm open to suggestions. If I have to adjust my playstyle to try out a tamer I will.
So drop healing and resist and go for gm eval?

Can you tame monsters while hiding? I was thinking of taming a few low lvl monsters, going to a high lvl monster like a dragon, hiding, and attempting to tame it. What strategy would I use for pvm and pvp?

I'd still be fore getting rid of hiding and going with Med to regain that mana quicker. You can always invis yourself with 6th circle magery.
