Mapping out the Lands.

Post by potamus »

Hello! My good friend Ron Howard has decided to take a tedious approach to documenting each treasure map location by what level of difficulty the chest may be. Ron's plan is going to take quite sometime to finish, because he will be documenting each new treasure hunt he goes on. Work has already begun, the completion will mean a new rune library and a vendor selling treasure maps that are appropriately labeled for individual or bulk sale. I am sure he could use any manner of assistance.

Once finished a guide for the forums will also be constructed.

Thank you for reading,

......

pretty sure any location 1-200 can be a level 1-5 map spot, it's not limited to level 5 maps only at spots 5-50-75-100, etc.

i could be wrong, but its unlikely that you would ever be able to accomplish this task :P

yea i was going to say what dagon said but i'm not 100% sure. i have definitely had multiple levels of tmaps in the same thunt location, i've had three different levels alone in that spot on the tiny island

this task would require at minimum 1000 thunts (though the chances of 1000 thunts working this out would be like 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001). if i could remember anything from statistics class, i'd calculate the average number of thunts you would have to do before completing this task. perhaps some studious mathematician can work this out ;)

in the end it's futility and pointless anyway since you generally know what level tmap you have, and it takes about 30 seconds to look it up in the archive and recall there

There just seems to be some kind of demand for tmaps, I have done multiple locations a few times over myself and it seems to be the same level of map. Honestly it was just something I was going to do with each new map I found and perhaps I have just lucked out with any repeating treasure maps being the same level as before.

I love doing T-maps but since the patch went in so you cant tell their level. I stopped doing them because 80% of the people out there are dishonest with what they actually are.

But yea theres no "this level is this spot" ive dug up different levels at the same spot numerous times, or recalled/gated in for a 4/5 with lvl 1/2 stuff still spawned at that location.
