Do animal gain dex on this server ? Changed title

I guess something changed post-demo then but I can't find a patch note.

I wresled my horse on the demo and it gained dex twice during the process.
The data file for skills also has dexterity defined.

The only difference I see between players and NPC's related with stat gain is that NPC's don't have a stap cap (but are also unable to gain above 100 per stat).

Because you're only measuring dex to the nearest 10 points; you may have gained up to 9 dex without knowing it. Also, wrestling is like 90% str, 10% dex, or something like that. You gain far more str than dex, and of course as you raise a skill, you are less likely to gain in the stat. So going from like 50 wrestling to GM wrestling on your horse, you might gain 12 str and 3 dex. You may very well need to train your horse for 2 solid months to get to 100 dex.

But hey, I'm not "king of the tamers", so what do I know

Wrestling is 100% str. Look at someone with 100 str and 0 wrestling, they will have 10 wrestling modified regardless of dex. So that really does not explain how Baitlin's horse gained dex.

Also if he wrestled his horse for 12h, pretty safe to say he shoulda gained > 10 dex.

That's the difference with the demo where Wresteling 50% str and 50% dex. I did not find a patch note saying that wrestling got changed. I do not know why wrestling is 100% str here.

I thought all stats were effected, but I tested and found that pets will gain str fairly easily. The issue seems to be with wrestle not giving the chance for dex gains.
