My First Sinking boat

In about 9 years of actual game play this is my first time witnessing a boat sink. Its pretty awesome.

Same here. I recalled in to check for tamers recalled out and caught it out of the corner of my eye and went back for some screen shots. I just assumed they disappeared much like a house.

But it leads to the question of if no one is around to hear the tillerman does he really scream?

I don't think the boat actually decays until a person is near it. Much the same as the way monsters don't move unless a person is nearby. Rather frustrating when a mongbat is blocking your recall spot in a location where no people visit.
