Dave Tips for Newbies.
Hail,
and welcome all newcomers. I am infact to this server my self. But not the game. For those of you who would like to add something to this post i would ask you add something constructive. Don't harass or post unless you have somethign for new people to use. I have noticed there are even new people to the game its self not just the server, so i want to create a resource for these guys to come check incase they need some help. Stuff that has been missed in the FAQ.
Thank you to those of you who participate.

Best thing for this thread is to look down through this forum and link all similar threads.

My first tip for the newbie! Yeah man here i go. Im sittin on a gal of wine almost and it just came to me. Lots of stuff come to me that way. If your a new mage carry a max of 30 of each regs, It weighs you down less, Pks dont get as much if you do get PKed. You dont lose as much. You have capacity to carry more loot. And get fatigued slower. Weather your at shame or deceit or where ever a lighter load when going in to PvM combat. Is a great thing.

Tip for a Newbie: Find and ask a tamer for gold. They know that you know they are rich. They won't say they are broke. If you get less than 10k from any tamer.....he's a cheap ahole and needs put on your list of future nutkicks.

Loot every thing that you can when you kill anything and then sell it to NPC's. This includes stupid things like clubs, boots, and any kind of shoes - be sure to take weapons and any types of gems. It adds up quick. If you are new and good enough to cast blade spirits it adds up faster especially if you run into a brigand camp or something similar. Loot the chest that you find and then either escort or kill the prisoner.
I'm only good enough to tame frenzies but I'll also go out of my way to tame some type of mount for someone if I can tell that they are really new.

best advice for new players, especially collecting gems. A fortune can be made on selling back gems to npc's considering some of them sell back for like 200+GP each.
