Question about gaining magic resist
Hello forum, I read some posts where its harder to gm resist now? I see people casting on themselves in town but do you not get good gains casting on yourself in within guard limits? please lemme know the best way I can gain resist currently with out a house and with one, once i get a house...(I don't have enough gold yet) i have 49 resist at the moment.

They cast on themselves in town, to gain magery without taking damage. It's rather silly because you can just cast spells and target any item and gain.
I don't think there is much else to say about resist. Firefield up to 55. Then start training magery. When you are flamestriking just continue that to GM. That's the fastest way it seems. It is possible to use the guardzone-line and trap npcs on the outside casting on you standing on the inside. It takes longer though, and you will be griefed, and I don't think it will take you to gm (anymore at least).
