Lumberjacking Off!
Please turn Lumberjacking On!
I would like to express my opinion on lumberjacking supplementing the damage when using an axe. I strongly agree with the post T2A implementation of the extra damage that came with swordsmanship when complimented with the skill of lumberjacking.
I think as of now, there are too many of the same templates used for PvPing. It seems to be tremendously repetitive seeing Tank-Mage, after Tank-Mage, after Tank-Mage.
Allowing this new and alternative style of PvP, will only strengthen the player base, and create a wider variety of PvPers.
I agree with preserving the T2A era, as it was by popular vote the most enjoyable era, but I also agree with some of the changes that came post T2A.
Ultimately I think having the option of choosing lumberjacking as a skill on a warrior template is one that we should have.
I would no like you to vote weather you agree with me or not.
Thank you,

While this may be an interesting pole to see where people stand on the issues of UOR game mechanics, I can guarantuee you that this will not be implimented here. This goes against our charter of producing an accurate T2A server, and would inevitably open the flood gates for requests for other UOR mechanics if we were to consider this change.

Re: Lumberjacking Off!
word, never going to happen.
and why add emotive text to a poll? its either yes or no...
in terms of alternate template.
dexxers are affective. it all depends on how you use em.
i like playing dexxers myself.
and i often come out with 1st place team leader for ctf and dd, that has no magery...
plus i have recently created a med dexxer which i will be testing out soon.
plus teamed with a tank-mage and using cross healing i have won a 2v2...
UO is a multiplayer game, and having mixed classes in a group is deadly.

I actually liked the addition of new combats modes/bonuses.
It is nice to be able to use something besides a 7x tank to PvP with...
But, i can understand while it would never happen here.
I think OSI did make some GREAT additions post t2a but like many of said if you open the door where do you stop...

I too understand why we cannot open the flood gates to everything that is post T2A. I'm not asking to do this based on my opinion alone, I'm simply attempting to obtain a majority vote on this matter.
I also know this is not a Democracy, its a dictatorship

It's a colaboration.
But this is simply out of era. I don't believe we can pick off a single item from a dramatically different combat system and jam it into our current system. All of combat was "rebalanced" in UO:R. We've done a lot of work (and there are still a couple minor items to fix) in getting a comprehensively accurate and consistent combat system working. There are many many things that tie together across the board to make it correct. The goal is accuracy and we believe that we will end up with the most accurate, enjoyable and balanced game that allows for the greatest variety of game play options if we just stick to the original spec, and not monkey with it.

Re: Lumberjacking Off!
lumberjacking was worthless. i vote NO.
there are plenty of other PVP builds that can be used other then the standard tank mage in the t2a era. just have to be a little creative. UO:R killed UO. dont let it kill this shard.
I didnt actually select "NO am afraid of a lumberjacker" because that is just retarded. If you would have just given Yes or NO choices i would have said NO, but even if you had your jacking damage bonus, i would still own you with a poison dexxer or macer.
