Housing Ownership

Post by Mikel123 »

Normally I'd post this in the New Players section, but I feel like it applies to vets too.

I wanted to get clarification on ownership. Let's say I have characters named:

Albert, Brian, Chris, Doug, Edward - account 1
Frank, Grant, Hector, Ingrid, Joseph - account 2

Please let me know if any of these are incorrect:
1) Albert places a house, and Brian, Chris, Doug, and Edward are automatic co-owners.
2) Albert places a house, and Brian, Chris, Doug, and Edward are automatic co-owners. Then Brian places a house, forcing him to lose co-ownership of Albert's house.
3) Albert places a house and manually adds Frank as a co-owner. Frank can no longer place houses.

1) Correct!
2) Correct! Brian is still a friend of the house, though.
3) There is nothing to stop Frank from placing a new house, however, once he does so, he automatically loses his co-owner status. Although he will be shown on the co-owner list in Albert's house, he will only have the privileges of a friend.

When did they change that? All of my characters that are on the same account as the house owner have "Friend" privileges if they own a house. It's been like that since Derrick's big co-owner patch.

I mean, i haven't tried anything in a couple of days, so if it's changed in that time, then I don't know about that.

All my chars on the same acct will have coowner privileges on each other's houses. So as far as I know, it works as Dagon says. However, all my houses where placed before the patch, so I don't know if that changed it any.
