Resist Question

Post by Hoots »

Looks llike the trip from 50 magery to gm will take resist to only about 90 skill (atleast on the char im working now)

Can anyone give an idea what kind of effort/cost it will take to gm resist form 90?

Is there a better way than casting FS on self? What about a good type of monster for resist gains at this point?

Thanks

GMing resist is most feasibly done by casting FS on yourself once you have 83 + magery.

GMing resist is not feasible.

a forum link for the answer http://forum.uosecondage.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2224
I know people have gm'd resist off of Lich Lords if thats the way you want to go. but FS on self is easiest.

i actually made it to 92.7 resist from 50-100 magery.

about three whole points in resist in going from around 98-100 magery so i ended up higher than i thought. (98-100 is also where real skill catches up with displayed so it was probably about a 1-1 ratio at that point)

I had about 1300 silk/ash left so i left a fs macro going today while im at work. I will see how much those 1300 casts raise and post it here tonight...

I never did understand why resist gain wasn't sped up once eval int went in. It always seemed if a mage could easily/quickly/cheaply macro his 100 point skill to increase damage that anyone else should be able to easily/quickly/cheaply macro their defense against it.
