Re: Newb question about paintings.
You need to stack a bunch o things and then put it on the stack. Lock it (I wish to lock this down) and remove the stack. I dont know what people use for the stack (still dont have my house) but Ive heard about cut cloths.
Re: Newb question about paintings.
It's really hard to get them next to the wall. It's best to make a macro in razor.
Drop one tile north (or wherever you want it)
Change to "drop by relative location".

Re: Newb question about paintings.
Most of them will pop right into place if you use a macro. I just finished doing a couple of these. Say you want to place the painting on the north wall. Walk into the middle of your house and record a macro where you take the painting out of your pack and drop it 1 space to the north of you. Edit the macro to make it a relative position, then walk over to your wall and stand 1 space away from the wall and play your macro. Voila!
Re: Newb question about paintings.
Tried using the macro. Drops it at the base of the wall not in the center....

Re: Newb question about paintings.
Hey Galen, try placing a small table and/or several fishsteaks, bandages, books, etc. (not stacked, but placed on on top of the other) to gain height. Then lock the painting down, and remove all the stuff you placed underneath. You should be able to adjust the height with that without a problem.

Re: Newb question about paintings.
it depends what type of painting it is. some will drop into the right position on the wall when they're on the tile, others need to be raised up.
