So you're saying that by not paying Derrick, to support his hobby, I'm not honest? You have a bright future in politics. I'm well aware that my virtual property is purely dependent on Derricks ability to pay the bills. If all this goes away, and it will with time, I will not be heartbroken.

It was very era accurate. Apparently you played after the era I played in. Apparently you were into l337 PVP instead of doing what I did, which was camp IDOCs, scam, and sell virtual homes for real money. Perhaps $10/month to you back then was a lot of dough. Maybe it still is. It wasn't for me, isn't now, and hopefully never will be. My time spent on anything is always more valuable than any real life currency/assets I may posses.

I have been divorced from WoW for 3 years now after 2 wonderful years spent together. Across all 3 of the accounts I owned, I had a total of 423 days of play time. So yes, Mikel123, please sleep better tonight knowing I'm familiar with having to ween myself from a game.

Then you said it was era accurate for people to not play UO but just log in every week to refresh their houses, all the while paying the monthly fee. This, too, is a lie. I'm sure someone did it, but the point is that it was damn infrequent. I'm not sure what selling houses on ebay has to do with logging in just to refresh them; presumably if they're sold, they don't need to be refreshed by you?

Then I suggested if you wanted to do what those few folks did back in the era - log in and refresh empty houses, paying $10/month all the while - subscribing or donating would be one way to reconcile your statements a bit.
