damn, I lost a LOT
damn, I lost a LOT
I took a.... 4 month vacation, and lost just about everything.
I'm wondering, why my characters appear in random cities when i log in?

Re: damn, I lost a LOT
Maybe you were out at sea when you logged off, then the ship decayed and you were ported to random cities?
Welcome back Kraarug! PM me on irc ASAP.

This is going to be epic. I can't wait until you try to play a dexer now...

Why do you say this? What is changed now? Just sounds very intriguing...This is going to be epic. I can't wait until you try to play a dexer now...
Re: damn, I lost a LOT
Everything. You don't hold your swing until in range of an enemy, which means there's no "insta-hit". There's a cap on swing speed, which I think makes kryss' slower than they were. You can't elapse your swing timer on the run, which means if you are chasing someone, and they stop to recall, you have to stop next to them and wait for your swing timer to complete before you can swing (before, if you chased for enough time... a very short amount of time... you'd have a swing ready the second you and they stopped). Lastly, you need to stop moving for .25 seconds to go from "swing timer elapsing" to "swing timer finished; swing ready".
I'm sort of giving Kraruuug a hard time because he used to fight vociferously (and in my opinion, really make some leaps in logic in his interpretation of patch notes and archived message board posts) for improvements for dexers at a time when a fencing dexer was almost unquestionably the dominant strategy here. Now, as I've said before, they're effectively purple potion throwers who give a hard time to people with 0 wrestling.

Well, it seems I won't be back.
It was fun playing here and trying to revive the game that captured so many imaginations.

There were no logical leaps, what I stood for was how the game was.Mikel123 wrote:Everything. You don't hold your swing until in range of an enemy, which means there's no "insta-hit".
