Thank you UOSA staff and players

Post by SpawnSC »

I found out about this server by going to YouTube and typing "uo" because I wanted to see some videos of the game I use to love. I came across the video that talked about how UO use to be and had a link to UOsecondage.com so right away I checked it out and right away I signed up! I've been playing for a week now and been passing the word to my buddies I use to play with.

It feels like day 1 when I bought the game from Babbages (now known as Gamestop) only thing I need now is the cloth map and box to bring back the feeling  but I greatly appreciate the staff putting time and dedication into the game for us the players to have a chance to actually relive those days of 1997. I was heart broken when EA took over and made all the changes they did.

Also I would like to thank my fellow players in game who actually spend time playing on this free shard and who have the same feelings as I do of when UO was good. Everyone has been friendly to me even the PKs have.

I look forward to growing my character and reliving the old UO fun days and meeting others.

thats probably a good idea because no other shard really has videos up promoting their server. Maybe videos of events on the server would be a good idea to spark some interest.

Welcome! This shard helped bring back fond memories of a game I loved. For fans of the true UO, there really is nothing better than this.

Hope you have fun here and see you around!

Spawn... Also checck out the New player section.. There is NPH (new player housing, not Neil Patrick Harris) available from alot of the vets out there that attempt to assist newer players with a leg up.

Welcome to UOSA! You will be hard pressed to find such a vibrant community and staff with such integrity among freeshards.

I can't remember the names of my characters  but I was in a thief guild for awhile in Vesper called Legion of Doom. They had a guild house on the west road of the bank.

Welcome to Second Age!

Indeed, we need more videos. There's a library here of what I've been able to find myself on YouTube:
