We want to war the orcs. What do we need to know?

The Bloodrock Orcs accept all wars. If you want it to be an RP war, you'd best be advised to stop by our forums (www.bloodrock.xillin.com) and start posting. Let us know who you are, why you want to war and the names of your members. Given enough advanced warning we can even set up a bit of fiction to go along with the attacks. Keep in mind that we fight so many dewd guilds (because we accept all wars) that if you show up at our fort unannounced we may mistake you for gankers and attack right away. Also, if you want to RP before fighting check to see if we aren't already fighting. If you see either human or orc corpses near our fort, it may be a good idea to leave and come back some other time. We certainly won't stop to RP if we're busy killing any of the many dewds that thought they were coming to kill us. Also, we're likely to not stop to check your guild title and just assume that you're with the 'oranges' already there fighting us. In that case you can be sure you're going to get attacked. All that said, there are a number of things to keep in mind when coming to fight. Don't carry anything you don't want to lose. This includes your mount. See 'looting policy' and 'mount killing policy' for more on this. Please remember that MANY looters hang around our fort. They often hide and wait for an orc or human to die, then jump out and loot and hide again. We can't stress this enough. Back when we had a 'no loot' policy, this caused us NO END of grief as various RP'ing guilds accused US of being the looters. Again, DON’T CARRY ANYTHING YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE! As above, if we kill you, WE WILL kill your horse or llama. We probably won't kill your ostard (since we don't eat them), but we might just do it anyway if you're consistently running from us. We normally won't res-kill. Only when dewds are trash talking and refuse to leave the area will we res-kill. Lastly, don't trash talk…OOC at least. The orcs are likely to insult you IC, using orcish words you probably won't understand. Please remember that the orcish word "nub" does not mean "newb" or "newbie", but rather "no"…this has caused a lot of problems in the past…it is NOT an orcish insult. We'll really appreciate the support and welcome we have had here. On a not-to-be-named previous shard people bitched and complained about us for every little thing because they had nothing better to do.

We are certainly here for our own enjoyment but we have always supported shard seers and we also prefer that our enemies also have fun.

And yes, our original home shard was Great Lakes...at least thats where we became famous. There was a prior shard far far back in our history.

Was it Pacific or LS? I'd swear I remember the Orcs but I don't remember from where. When I started in 97 I was on pacific then moved to LS with some friends.

Yea that was Shadow Clan. I think pretty much every shard had an orc clan. But, they were all pretty much knock offs and Dupes of Shadow Clan. There are in my eyes only two original orc clans throughout the history of UO. That is Bloodrock, and Shadow Clan.
