Hi Kurtz. It's good to see another F^D face again. I've lost contact with just about all of the F^D crowd, many of whom were good "UO" friends.

Last time I talked to any of them was when I talked to Telemakhus on ICQ about 3 years ago. Been wondering what some of them were up to.. Especially when I know that Kashius was doing a tour in Iraq the last time I was updated on what any were doing. Can't remember if Chang Fei was still doing the Army thing or not.

I used to have a bunch of screen shots but alas, they were lost in a hard drive crash awhile back.

Regards,

Shard Phoenix F^D

I played Chang Fei around 99 to 02 and then off and on for a couple of years. Im not even sure when I played now, it was so long ago. CzarZero of Endo basicly taught me how to PvP. I dont know if anyone remembers him. I was IRL friends with Zhang Liao and Gaun Yu.

I was in F^D, many happy times...

Gunnar, I rejoined the Army as an officer after college. I am currently in Afghanistan with the 10th MTN DIV. My Captains board meets Decemeber 1st.

I know who czar was. He was the only poisoner I knew on the shard. I actually ran with him during t2a quite a few times. He hung around brit GY.

I know of Guan Yu - he ran with Ho Chi Mihn right? They also looked alike on characters but I believe Guan had neon red hair.

Chang, good to hear from you again and glad you're doing well. Congrats on becoming an Officer, and hope your Captains board goes well. Stay safe over there brother, I think of you guys ever now and again and always hope you stay safe.

I got out of the Navy two years ago after an 8 year stint. Going to college now :)

If you still keep in touch with Kashius let him know I said "Hey".

Oh, what ever happened to the Shard Phoenix account anyway? I know I passed it on to you when I quit playing UO altogether, did you keep it or pass it along again? My wife was pissed when I did that lol.

The Shard account is long gone. I gave it away or sold it years ago, I think the latter.

Kash just got back from Iraq and is at Ft Bragg, NC going through SFAS atm. I'll tell him you said hi the next time I talk to him.

I think Gaun may have hung out with HCM briefly, Im not sure anymore though. He did have red hair later though.

anyone remember Buff'n'stuff? There were actually 3 of us with the same name but they played very little. I mainly rolled solo (joined CD for a limited period of time) but was the first pvper I knew to be a fencer/assassin. This was before most people carried any pots so i got a lot of kills that way/

Wow, I can't believe you still have screenies from then. I was in CPT and I recognize a lot of names in the screenshots. Some other names I remember are Sir Bart, Dirtnap, Starbreeze, Ronald McDonald. Also the URK guys. I loved them. My characters were Angel Sanchez, Styrbjorn and Anderz.

I played as a character named Coke from release till about 2000 or so. Had some of the best times I've ever had in an MMO. I was a part of DE when I believe Malagant was the Guild Leader? All I remember is something happened and I ended up leaving on really bad terms with him and the Guild.

I was PK for a lot of the time and it was some glorious fun.

Remember several battles with Ho Chi Minh. Good times!

Ah, had some fun running my fingers at pcgaming.cc

Flashing back to my younger more spiteful years when I'd engage in internet fisticuffs. Fun fun.

Good lord, I can't believe how many familiar faces are coming back. Nobdy can get rid of their UO Fix for good, it always comes back. Been on Warhammer Online for the past 3 years but I still always have to check in to UO. Loved those old pictures, see a lot of friends in em.

Yeah, I just found this place the other day. Eve Online is about as close as it gets in terms of commercial MMO's nowadays, but it still doesn't fill the hole. I used to be Haral Luhhan and Samitsu on GL from around late 99 to late 01, till a friend of mine named Josh hacked another friend's computer while I was on vacation. They were fighting at the time, and the friend that got hacked had my acct info to refresh my house and spar with while I was gone, and when I came back all my toons were deleted. Never really got back into UO seriously after that.

I never joined a guild while I was on GL, but my friends were in BC, so I'd hang out with them alot. My best friend used to be called Legend and later Harmony. I came back for awhile after the hack in early 02, and made a tamer called Choukaiyou, and a poison dexer named Shelia. I later gave the account to Legend before I quit, and I heard he sold it to someone in BC a few months after that. Haven't been on GL since then.

The game was so fun back then. I still hate EA for what they've done to it. Bastards....
