Destroy chests/boxes...
I seem to remember that when you destroy a chest/box/crate in some fashion (whether it be an NPC or PC) that the contents of that chest would drop. I just destroyed a chest and all of the contents disappeared instead.

yea you used to be able to fill a box up with 50 crates then breka the box and leave endless supply of perfectly stacked crates on the ground to block stuff

It works as you described right now. Either you had some sort of fluke or just didn't notice what fell out.

This reminds me of the vendor lotto system where you'd buy a hatchet for 1 gold and one of 50 boxes with a chance of a 10k check or somethin.. break and box and whatevers left drops out.
