IDK, i was just relating personal experience of macroing 2 dexxers up. I remember it taking significantly longer on a guard vs a polar bear.

but I am horrible at UO combat so maybe i was doing it wrong somehow.

I know that "memory" is the least respected form of Era Accuracy, but...

I played T2A in 1999, and I distinctly remember having a practice sword when I started my Warrior character.

I didn't get one starting here. Don't we have them?

We have newbie weapons (which you should have gotten), but the names don't include "practice", and I'm unsure if they do the proper reduced damage or not. I remember them all being named "a practice <weapon>" myself, with the exception of the dagger.

Just to get a little extra nicpicky, I think they were a <name> (practice weapon)

Example: a bow (practice weapon)
Lake Superior 1997-2002, UOSA 2008-Present
