MIB rate is really bad

Without some more information regarding the time between fishing attempts, these numbers don't really mean that much.

This probably explains your numbers better than anything. The delay between cast to pull is 8 seconds. 11 seconds represents an approximate 30% reduction in speed of fishing attempts in an hour.

ok i see this now .. had it set for that for trying to remain hidden while fishing ... will adjust to 8 seconds tomorrow and try again...

I spoke to DW in IRC. He said after adjusting to 8 seconds his MIB rate went up to about 1.2.

just to clarify .. this is not 1.2 EVERY HOUR ... its an Average over Multiple Hours. ...

not too sure about "Clearly" sometimes the waters are pretty murky and the fish don't bite

Has there been any clarification on whether or not fishing with multiple fisherman puts you at an advantage or not? That is, is there a limited number of bottles in an 8x8 square that equal approx 1mib/hour, or does each individual fisherman have the ability to pull an average of 1mib/hour?

There is a 1 mib per hour estimate (or based on fact, I dont really know/care). Trials seem to show slightly greater than that estimate, and much of the problems mentioned before the most recent posts were related to the improper use of the fishing skill. Perhaps Darkwing can better explain..
