Shovels are breaking quickly again

Post by CougarNut »

I went through 2 full GM shovels to get 141 ore. It used to be 125 ore per GM shovel, now they break very randomly.

Used to be 50 per regular shovel,
100 for exceptional and
125 for GM.

Can you look in to this?

Thanks!

I could be wrong, but I don't recall a difference from Exceptional to GM on crafted items. I thought that it was the same thing with the exception of a higher chance at GM to make exceptional and and the makers mark.

I don't remember the uses an item had though, so I can't contribut much there beyond normal = 50.

Either way, my miners is not finding his shovels to break extraordinarily quickly. Maybe you're just a really hardcore super strong miner or maybe time flies because you love mining so much.

Exceptional shovels had 100 durability and regular shovels had 50. There was no differentiation between exceptionally crafted and GM crafted shovels. The whole concept of "GM" quality items was simply a perk above and beyond the increase in success/exceptional rate that was added for most professions during late T2A.

As for the problem with quickly breaking your shovels, when I get the chance I'll pass the information along to Derrick to get it looked at.
