Normally I would have had the orc/panther a smidgen closer to the others but you get the idea...the EV doesn't go after the panther after the orc is dead nor the others...this is fairly normal of how my EVs are acting...

Energy vortexes are definitely really stupid and inaccurate right now.

All this does is promote LESS pvm with mages and less pvp in dungeons because of it, people are having to log on their bards and play a class that FARMS MORE and is less fun because EV's don't work worth a damn.

I took have casted it RIGHT NEXT to a dragon and it walks back and then comes after me even when I'm far.

It needs to be fixed, we don't need to lose PVMers.

Energy vortexes may be powerful but they are not nearly as powerful as a bard in pvm, no reason for the nerf!

On the other hand it gives more of a reason to put stealing on your bard

I guess it comes down to summoning daemons.

I remember Daemons were a lot stronger on OSI... for PVM and PVP and its quite useless here.
Same with EV their melee is a lot weaker here but the poison is a lot stronger than OSI. lol

I remember one daemon were strong enough to take a red down especially against a mage. (:

Well I had two summoned at the time. Not like I was like "Stop for a moment MR. PK, give me time to summon some help for our friendly battle"

yeah reds were dropping like flies against summoned deamons on osi. pretty much all you had to do was summon a deamon, say "all guard me" and go get a soda. come back, cut the head and turn in the bounty.

I was in the OL room, had a bunch of mobs provoked, and I threw an EV into the mix. Of course, it goes after me first and I invis, but then it just hovers there and refuses to attack any mobs at all. Also, I cannot provoke the EV: "You have no chance of provoking those creatures!" ... what gives here?

You have to summon it on the tile directly next to the Ogre Lord. If it starts chasing you, you need to kite it back onto the Ogre Lord. I believe you should be able to provoke things onto EVs though, I know you can't on UOSA.
