If there are scams or the site is found to be a scam or anything of the like I will be the first to support full bans of anything .. However I do not think any of this to be true and that this site is set up to only Help our over taxed staff .. We're happy to have Chaos and Shasta on board with the moderation team. They will be ensuring that all topics remain on point and that the rules laid out are followed. In addition, we've decided to open registration. We've had enough individual hits per day that we feel opening registration will be the easiest way, since it seems many are either attempting to register but are being met with the disabled registration page.

We will be closely monitoring the names signed up and making every effort to verify you are who you say you are. If a name is registered that belongs to a uosamain account we will be PM'ing that user for authorization. We apologize to anyone not wishing to receive a PM, please rest assured we are doing this in an effort to protect the integrity of your name and of our website. Protecting the security and integrity of your name and our is our #1 priority. Any inconvenience this may cause was deemed necessary for that reason.

New Stuff:

We're testing out peoples responses to our effort and standardizing auctions. We've opened a section of the site for guest posting and will be making frequent changes to the form system as we receive feedback. This form allows you to essentially "fill in the blanks" and you get a forum post out of it that is uniform with all other posts in a specific board. This will be altered heavily and stylized over time to create something that is easy to use, informative, and visually appealing.

In an effort to ease the familiarity of the uosa main forums, we've added the ability to tag posts. As has been stated we're currently unable to take the Topics created from certain boards and display them in a main category. This is being worked on but it is quite a large project. In the interim we've added tagging in order to search by tag, and in the future it may aid us in the larger project as well. We're steadily moving forward and making sure to keep track of the little bugs and inconsistencies and fix them along the way as well.
