Its was an event per se as much as the shard allowed (kinda annoying due to lag and such since at first the house wasn't dropped... it was just a cluster fuck of ppl trying to get inside the house and then to just get blown up by trapped boxes (some were). Then the server crashed and by the time I got back on I guess the house was dropped and everything was gone. Nothing was "given out".

Yes. Things were "given out." (Why the quotes?) You just didn't get anything.

Yes, but they are indistinguishable. I had one guy follow me around the bank half the night saying "GIMME SPELLBOOK FAG" and other clever bits of UO parlance.

Yes. Things were "given out." (Why the quotes?) You just didn't get anything.

The quotes because I was under the impression this was going to be an event, not a hand out stuff thing. Like you had to fight or do something to get stuff... not a charity case hand out thing. Its too bad things were handed out as I think its more fun to fight or sneak with the stuff out.
