UOT2A Retail Code Activation via link failed

hi,

i'm brandnew here and hope, that the posting is at it's right place. if not, please be propitiate to me

today i got an original cd-rom, sealed and bnib (!!!) of uo2a (made 1999) with a sticker on the case, telling me a retail code for activation via following link : https://ultima-registration.com .

however the site is not available and so i want to know, how to do it 'today' (over 10 years later^^).
do i need to download and install the client software as well ?

i have no idea how to do it, so any help is appreciated. thx to anyone for help.

You don't have to activate the client to install it, do you? I thought "Ultima Registration" was just for the account registration and billing setup. It should be fine if you just install the client and not register an account with EA.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I wasn't a UO player when T2A was released, but this is how it has always been for me.

You dont have to register it or even buy it for that matter...all you have to do is download the client at the top of UOSA's home page.
