New char: stealth thief with tracking - suggestions needed

I'm working my thief now... Currently at : gm snoop/steal/hiding/stealth/wrestling - 80 mage/90 med

My plan was to go full 7x with gm mage/med but then I started thinking about tracking.

Does anyone play a thief with tracking ? - Fun? Useful? if so, any tips/recommendations on a good amount of tracking skill would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking 30 tracking and 90 magery/80med - or maybe 100 mage/70 med. I don't plan on using a lot of spells, but for gating/occasional EV/etc the meditation will be useful.

I've seen a few topics on tracking and realize you can track onscreen with 21.4 shown skill (iirc).

Interested to hear what you would do for this build.

I play a stealth thief with tracking.

100 stealing
100 snoop
100 hiding
100 stealth
100 magery
100 med

I have 70 tracking and 30 wrestling. You could probably do with less tracking. If a dexxer jumps on me, it's game over, but with this build, you're usually doing hit and run tactics.

Meditation is extremely useful as you'll be recalling around a lot.

Learn what areas get tracked in dungeons (i.e. walk in covetous and track, and you get to see who's in covetous 4, as its dead N of you on the map)
