paragons

so what about paragons then? ya know the tougher, harder monsters that spawn. ie: 1 outta 500 zombies turn into a paragon. and it has a certain chance to drop 'paragon' chests with loot, and the chests are pretty valuable to. their different colored, but if you guys dont like the colors just make um wooden/metal chests with the paragon signature on it.

I'm not a fan of those things, especially since they were added sometime after AOS wasn't it? When I made that statement it was more on the lines of having more flexibility around PVM events when it comes to accuracy issues.

Ilshenar.

Far far away from T2A. Not even close to being an era-accurate suggestion

Paragon spawns were actually added much later than the Ilshear. The patch note from January 12, 2005 notes the addition of paragon creatures. If we check the time line of expansion releases to UO: AoS was released on February 10, 2003, and Samurai Empire was released on or around November 2, 2004. So, paragon creatures are not only outside the purview of T2A, they are waaaaaaay outside the purview of anything that is pre-AoS.

One thing that I will have to mention to Derrick is the addition of the various era-accurate perks that existed so that players will have something to look forward to (evil mage cloth *cough cough*). We are severely lacking in the extra perk department with regard to era accurate things that people can go out of their way to obtain.

Id agree with this only because pvm could be spiced up a bit. but as many people said it isnt era accurate so its not gonna happen.
