Isn't the idea of a noob key kinda pointless when you can always change your locks and get a new key? Just discard your key each time, when you want in, change the locks, and move on.

a much more experienced friend than me is giving me virtually unlimited (but reasonable) access to MR, invis, tele items and vanq weps. the man told me all i need is a noob key- so i'm looking for a noob key.

Oh, do noob tinkers sometimes get noobified keys? Is that how it works? O_o

Sounds alot easier then it really is.

Step 1: Make Tinker
Step 2: Check bag for key
Step 3: Realize you dont have key
Step 4: Wait 7 days to delete character

There is a reason why people pay alot for these because its such a small % chance to actually get a noob key when making a tinker.

^This. I made 7 tinkers a week for about three months and only got two keys. I do have LOADS of newbied clock parts though, so not a total waste of time

Edit - Also worth mentioning that if you have a newb key in your pack and redeed an unrelated house the key gets deleted from your pack anyway
