hybrid crafter tamer build?

my main is a crafter and im thinking of adding taming to him

blacksmithy
mining
tailoring

these are the skills im working on so far. I don't think i'll bother with tinkering or carpentry because i doubt the $ return will be that great.

so what about a hybrid build?

blacksmithy
mining
tailoring
taming
animal lore
vet

then maybe just enough magery to recall

No.

If you plan on using your tamer effectively you'll need to be able to gate. Just make a mule that never leaves your house.

^^ Effective tamer build. Give or take eval for wrestling or hiding depending on your newb level.

i'm against mules in principle. I believe in roleplaying each of my characters.

maybe ur right tho..not really viable to hybrid taming and crafting

hey it could work.
obviously it wouldnt playing to the strengths of the alternate attributes to the character.
you could also have a lord/lady crafting tag.
i personally would also drop tailoring/mining for meditation, if you want to go hunting with pets.
that all said it is quite a gimp'd template!

how is med used for hurting with pets?

meditating regerates mana.
something you are sure to run out of if you hunting with magery even if pets are dealing damage.
g/heal cure arch-cure magic-reflect recall gate etc it all adds up.
