problem with UO T2A original

Hello! This is my first post here so I introduce myself too! =)
I love this game, I have the original box and tried to install the original and patch it with the patch found via bittorrent without any success.
So I downloaded UOML and patched it fully to the 6.0.x but it has become another version!
Now, if I pack all the directory and install it somewhere else, can I obtain the same updates without having to re-patch it through the official server?

You should be able to connect and play here with the UOML client. It is what I used prior to installing the recommended bit torrent client you are speaking of. However, I would have stopped the UOML patch process during the update process when you reached patch 5.0.8.3.

Now that you have advanced past that stage, there is no way to revert back without uninstalling/reinstalling the game.

What operating system are you using and is it 32 or 64 bit? I can help you get the recommended UO client installed.

The recommended bittorrent file, if renamed, is just a password protected .zip but I can't extract the files because I don't know the pass.

I think that with UOML past the 5.0.8.3 some NPC acts weirdly (like not answering at all to my questions, but I might be wrong)...

Being a very old game, just a zipped directory with all the game inside should fix all the troubles. So if someone has the original UO T2A patched to the needed version, it should be made available as a simple zip. My original won't patch anymore.

Where are you downloading from? The UO client and 5.0.8.3 patch available on UOSA's bit torrent is not password protected.
