No, I really don't mind not being able to stable.

Set it back to unlimited. It's not worth all this trouble.

i agree, i mean what kind of a person needs more than 3 drags and maybe 1 mare or a frenzied. But that is the way the cookie crumbles. but seriously i use my 300 cats to entertain children running the streets of britannia.

I don't really care, for the record, but I live 2 screens away from a stable and can't even manage to keep a lousy pack-horse. Screw the tamers but they have managed to bring up a valid point for the rest of us but not themselves, IMO. It's ironic that they have created the problem (which is legitimate) and are asking for help when all they need to do is stop creating the damn problems which are hoarding AND complaining. Ya'll with the cats and chickens are just griefers but as much as it pains me I've gotta side with you.

/shrug.
I got enough slots for me to function with comfortably, as do most tamers. The above attitude only really screws with the guy above me who just wants a pack horse.

the sad thing for me is: as much as i love to play uosa and as much as i appreciate the effort derrick, nevermore, kaivan & co put in this shard: this thread - together with other threads on topics like ghosting, tourney system and whatnot - always leaves me with a sour feeling that this shard falls short of its potential.

still i would'nt want to play anywhere else.

just my two cents.
I totally agree with this.

This is by far the best run free shard but the dedication to replicating mechanics does sometimes go against the experience.

Actually, in the attack on run thread I believe it was said that the goal of the shard is to reproduce the mechanics, not the spirit. But I do agree we should be reproducing the spirit of t2a

No offense, but who cares what kind of people do anything ever? UO is supposed to have more possibilities then anyone would know what to do with.

What kind of person spends all day killing other players, stealing from other players or being honest and truthworthy in an online game that only has RL consequences when we allow it? UO players.

But seriously all those people who wasted their time and gold to fill the stables did it because its part of the game.

Just start charging 500 gold per instead of 30 and that should fix this problem

I think we have exhausted this thread to the point of grief and silliness.

I was just raising awareness of the situation and giving you a fun poll to keep you from getting bored.

I think we all know that this can't change because of era accuracy.

I could have swore I remembered I read a post a while back ( i believe it was the discussion on these boards about stable master invulnerability) where the cost of stabling depended on the INT level of the creature being stabled.

This would be a good gold sink.

Edit: Oooops it was Str and not Int. My bad.....
