This is something I hadn't heard, and didn't know of. It would be interesting to post it in the bugs forums, so it is brought to admin's attention. My first impression is that they might have had LOS to a tile inside the house and set it as last target, then cast and target last (something like how teleport works in some instances). Not sure if that may be the way to do it, but I for one will try to recreate and will post my results.Arsen wrote:Arsen wrote: we were in the center tile and some urks showed up and casted chainlightnings on us. we were forced to recall out.
i dont know how they did that, i asked in urk ch around but no one wants to tell.

ok, not sure if this is era accurate or not. Or if it will help.
I remember at some point way back when, we covered our windows in small houses ( and ground floors in
larger houses) with bookcase or the like. At that time that prevented people from casting spells or shooting
arrows at you through the windows.
But.... did not prevent spells like fire field from reaching you. Can't remember about spells like earthquake.

FWIW, thatched <straw> roof smalls could have their roofs targeted under the right conditions... dunno about here..
<GuardianKnight> I think we should let our pks run rampant, grief and murder every newbie with 50 hp and call them losers for dying. ......wait...that's what do have now.
