I left my mage to macro magery while I was out, and once I returned he had burned through about 900 lightning reagents and had gained 9.2 in magery. However, his resisting spells hadn't budged a point. Should I have pointed evaluate intelligence up to gain along with magery? Does that in some weird way effect my resisting spells gains?
...Also not used to all spells doing only 1 damage in town, I came back and the healer character's healing was same as it was when I left.
900+ reagents later
Re: 900+ reagents later
You can't gain magic resist in town.
What's your magic resist at anyways (so I can answer the question as to if Lightning would have made you gain it)

Re: 900+ reagents later
started 50/50 magery/resist on both the mage and the dexxer
Re: 900+ reagents later
Magic damage casted on someone in guards protection only deals 1 damage. Magic resist does not go up if someone in town casts damaging spells on another individual. This was fixed on OSI shards so that people couldn't essentially get free resist gains with little or no damage.
