14x Gold-Rimmed Metal Chests

Got these in today. Trying to figure out if I want to sell them or keep them for personal decoration, so I'm taking offers on the entire lot.

Unfortunately, less than 18 hours after moving everything to a new storage facility, I lose these chests due to an EV (I locked off my other tower roofs as I thought you could only EV into a tower if you can walk into the building up to a table wall, not if you were completely locked out). Sadly, I was going to use these funds to throw some fun server events I had planned, and I am not rich enough to do them without these + the other stuff I lost. Shame all around.

Thanks to everyone for their interest in these items, sorry you didn't get a chance to purchase them.

Sorry to hear that. I understand how the chests got destroyed, but I thought the EV's just dumped everything that was non-blocking onto the ground. Is that not right? Do you lose the stuff IN The destroyed containers too?

Yeah probably just some random stoned idiot trying to entertain himself after his shift at Radioshack, nothing better to do than take events away from people, heh.

And nah- didn't lose any of the actual stuff...thought I did at first before I lost a few kegs, until I realized that those count as containers.

Ironically the EV saved me about 2+ hours of sorting because I had so many unsorted chests of armor and it all being in the same spots made it way easier!

Same thing happened to me proly a month ago. I had a bunch of unlocked empty chests on the 3rd floor of my tower. This person took the time to cast an ev on my roof and navigate it through the 3rd story door and into the room that the chests were sitting.

My stupid fault for not locking them down but that is some dedication to the art of griefing.

Yeah a substantial minority of people who play here will spend 10x as much time to slightly hassle one stranger as they will to do something positive for themselves or anyone else. These are probably the kind of people who get shit on every day at the job or at home IRL and then jerk off to briefing people on a private server or something :p

I wasn't commenting on everyone who does anything to anyone else in general (like PKing or house-robbing for loot), just on my general guesses at the kind of people who will invest wayyyyy more effort into hampering strangers even a little bit compared to doing anything for their own benefit in that time! Seems incredibly sad to me, and makes me wonder at the personality behind the keyboard.

Of course, I am not surprised even a tiny bit to see cA come running to the defense of online douchebaggery at every possible opportunity
